For all my youngster who watched VH1’s realty shows "Miss Rap Supreme" and “The White Rapper Show” and was wondering “who the @#$% is this white dude with glasses thinking he is the master of Hip-Hop?” “I never heard or seen this white dude before!” “Who does this guy think he is?”………… Well peeps he is EVERYTHING he claims to be!!!!

Here is just a notch he has on his street cred resume: MC Serch (The white dude with Glasses) was the executive producer of Nas’ Illmatic album.

Here is the video that placed him on mainstream with his group, 3rd Bass called Pop goes the Wiesel a 90's Classic.

Can Ya'll get funky?

The first time I heard this song, I was at a house party in Queens, NY. Those were the days everyone were rocking the adidas sweatsuits with their LL Cool J Kangol hats. This song really means alot to me because Afrika Bambaataa was the creator what he and we call the 'Four Elements' of hip-hop: DJing, Breaking, Graffiti Art and MCing.

As far as back I remember, I always wanted to be.......

For the first music video on TheDineros.com, I had to put the first Rap video I ever watched on MTV in 1987. The Sugarhill Gangs' Rapper's Delight, the first hip hop single created.

For all my peeps, that were not born at the time, here is a little info on these legends:

This pioneering group inaugurated the recorded history of hip-hop with their single "Rapper's Delight", a multi-platinum seller and radio hit in 1980. New Jersey-based producer and indie label owner Sylvia Robinson had become aware of the massive hip-hop block parties occurring around the New York City area during the late '70s, so she gathered three locals from her town of Englewood, New Jersey: Guy O'Brien, who was the original Master Gee; another local rapper, Michael Wright, who called himself Wonder Mike, and Big Bank Hank. The vocalists were then teamed up with three session musicians, including future Living Colour bassist Doug Wimbish. Together, they recorded all of the Sugarhill Gang’s work.

I remember alway watching this video an thinking I was going to be their fourth member. I know I was not the only one............
